This is the attitude! Life is not about finding the right person, but creating the right relationship. It's not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end. Some people always throw stones in your path. It depends on what you make with them; a Wall or a Bridge? - Remember you are the architect of your life. Search for a good heart, but don't search for a beautiful face, because beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful. It’s not important to hold all the good cards in life, but it’s important how well you play with the cards you hold. Often when we lose all hope & think this is the end, remember God and pray, it’s just a bend, not the end.' - Have faith and have a successful life. One of the basic differences between God and humans is, God gives, gives and forgives. But the human gets, gets, gets and forgets. Be thankful in life... it is JUST BY THE GRACE OF GOD that we are alive.

I was with the CEO of AMAA at a party some weeks ago. A young lady walked up to me and after pleasantries and a few drinks she said something about good guys being scarce and the good men are not yet born. Stupefied I was until I regained composure and hit her with my response; The response is for all single ladies, married women, everyone who thinks good men are myth. Walk with me, my answer to her was; Good men are indeed all around us. We pass them on the streets,in the malls and the halls at work. Most of us can't see because we don't know what a good man really looks like. He usually isn't flashy enough or rich enough to turn our heads. He might not wear a suit or own a BMW. He might not have a "body like Vin Diesel with a Brad Pitt face or a Will Smith height... But, as you mature, you realize it's better to find someone who's got your back than someone who turns your head. A good man doesn't agree wholeheartedly with everything you say. He doesn't just tell you what you want to hear and do the opposite. He has his own opinions and you may clash, but he doesn't have to degrade you to prove he's right. He even admits at times to being wrong, especially if you are willing to do the same. A good man is not going to meet every item on your checklist. He is human with frailties and faults mixed in with all of his wonderful, strong attributes. He needs your love and respect. He needs to feel that you do not live to "catch" him doing something wrong so you can declare, "Aha! I knew you were a dog!" A good man doesn't necessarily give you a huge birthday or Valentine's gift. He shows his love in the ways that are 'comfortable' to him. Don't judge him by TV standards (The Bold & The Beautiful). No one lives that fairy tale for real. You'll miss out on your own fairy tale by buying into the myth that good men are myths. (Culled from IFU ENNADA'S BLOG)

No one said it was going to be easy, the books just made it look so. The only consolation is that it will end in praise because it's actually beautiful to make an effort, at least. Plus, no effort is wasted. Keep up the good work; keep working; keep praying; keep on doing something until Something happens. Have the God-kind of faith, you will succeed, and your life will never remain the same again. God bless! #PUSH #lifeofadirector #filmmaking #directing

My landlord's son, (same boy that renamed me Uncle Festus some months ago) draws my attention to their new mobile mini swimming pool which his mum just acquired. I found him and his siblings bailing out the little water left in it so they could clean out the sand that settled underneath- an Herculean task indeed! He sighs and wipes his forehead so I could appreciate the fun he was having or the effort? I didn't quite understand. Then I proceed to where my vehicle is parked, broom in hand, did my stuff and made to go back inside my apartment when he stopped me again... BOY: Err... Mr... Mr... (he fumbles in his head what my name was) ME: Yes, Sean! (I quickly cut in before he gives me a Chinese name) SEAN: Come and help me pack the water ME: (I paused, looked at his half sisters for a bit and turned squarely to him) But you need a packer not a bucket, because the water is below your ankle. SEAN: (He and his other virgins continue to stare at me, like I wasn't wearing trousers. Then he says...) How come you have a broom and you don't have a packer? ME: Have you seen the movie titled "Life of Pi"? (He shakes his head) Pity, the movie has to do with a little boy and a swimming pool too... That means you don't even know Richard Parker. SEAN: No! (Impatiently) Come and pack the water for me! ME: (with a sarcastic smile) The last time I parked this car here, where this your plastic pool is now eh, your father said I could not park there. So, go and tell your father in particular, that he should wear his torn boxers and come down and pack your water for you. You hear! Moments later, I heard his mum asking him where he got something from. Then answers and says... SEAN: But mummy, it's... Uncle ... Uncle Parker that said I should use a packer to pack the water. I FROZE! Who da hell is Uncle Parker???

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." 1 Peter 2:9-10 You are the chosen generation! In the name of Jesus, you have been counted amongst the generation of those chosen for the blessings, glory and goodness of God. You will be chosen for salvation in Jesus name. You have been chosen for the generation of victory in Jesus name. You have been chosen for the generation of praise and rejoicing in Jesus name. You will not be a part of the accursed generation in Jesus name. Your name will be removed from the generation of evil, in Jesus name. Take ownership of your role as royal priesthood! In the name of Jesus, you will be clothed with the robe of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the sandals of peace and the belt of truth. The Lord will anoint you today, as a royal priest for the edification of His name. Has the Lord not endorsed you as a holy nation? In the Name of Jesus, every element of filth, impurity, sin, and uncleanliness shall be removed from your life. You will be sanctified in every area of your life. Today, the Lord will make you part of His special people! In the Name of Jesus, you are a special person of the Lord! You will be treated with divine favour in Jesus name. No longer shall you dwell in darkness, for the Lord shall draw you out into His marvellous light, in Jesus name. The Lord will identify you as part of His own and His mercies shall continue to follow you all the days of your life. Today, you shall no longer be the same. The world will see a divine difference in your life. The Lord shall permanently assign you as part of His chosen generation, His royal priesthood, His Holy nation, and His special people. Hallelujah! Have a great week ahead and God bless you richly! Amen!

VIRTUE: The value of knowledge

A giant ship engine failed. The ship’s owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure out how to fix the engine.
Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was young.
He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.
Two of the ship’s owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do.

After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something.
Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed!
A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars.
“What?!” the owners exclaimed. “He hardly did anything!”
So they wrote the old man a note saying, “Please send us an itemized bill.”
The man sent a bill that read:
Tapping with a hammer…… …… ……… $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap……… …… ……… $ 9,998.00
Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference! Keep studying hard. Don’t give up!
Enjoy your day.

We all have times when life feels hard; when we are frustrated and tired, and we just want to hide away. If that's you right now, don't worry. Every caterpillar has to rest to become a butterfly, and you'll soon find your wings again. In the mean time, let your Angels wrap you in theirs. You're so loved - Anna Taylor
Halleluiah!
The Word of the Lord comes to you today from Psalms 124: 7-8
"Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowler" The snare is broken, and we have escaped. 8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”
You will escape every evil attack of the enemy in Jesus name. All the traps the enemy has set for you will be destroyed in Jesus name. Your soul shall never be held hostage in the snare of the hell, in Jesus name. As a bird escapes the snare of the flowler, so also you shall escape every evil uprising against you, in Jesus name. The snare is broken! In your life, every obstacle set up against you has been broken in Jesus name. Every establishment of wickedness against your household has been conquered today in Jesus name. You will not suffer any loss in Jesus name. You will escape the snare of poverty and sadness in Jesus name. The snare of loneliness and fear shall never capture you in Jesus name. Today, the Lord will command your release from the snares of damnation and defeat in Jesus name. Happy New Month!

Have you ever found yourself in non-purposeful circles, wondering what you were doing there and how much time investment you have wasted impressing and surrounding yourself with some wrong people? Most times we find ourselves attached to some unnecessary peers, because we just want to spice up the moments and have fun. Therefore, we end up spending too much investment, knowing that life is short, and other great factors are yet to be achieved. Here are ways to help you cut off unnecessary friends, stay happy and independent. 1. Set boundaries learn to draw out a line between yourself and your peers, remove all strings attached. setting gaps and discipline to be independent and discover who you are. Set times when you need to be in a conference or be alone. let them know your worth and principles. 2. Talk less listen more When you are in group chat, listen to what they have to say, talk when it is necessary. Don't bring up suggestions or topics to generate another discussions. It's feels polite to listen to people's opinion than to do all the talking.
 3. Respect yourself:- Never engage in a fight in public places, "it is the position of which you place yourself, that you would be addressed.

 4. Engage time and energy doing other things. Spend quality time studying, checking out plans, improving your skills and knowledge. Follow your planner, set times you would want to be in group discussions and flee afterwards.

 5. Go for counselling Seek for higher knowledge from people, go for counselling programs; I think the internet as also helped in terms of showing guidance to people who needs assistance. Seek other psychology blogs and websites, like www.marcandangel.com www.psychologytoday.com. www.wikihow.com : they are great medium for support.

 6. Interact with passion fulfilled people Move along with people in your line of career, decision makers, rub minds with experienced people. Realise life is short, you cannot end up impressing people, focus your mind on achievement and God's purpose for your life and how your life will affect generations and citizens around. Cut of those friends and move on.

The greatest things of life never happen in the crowd, the most beautiful things never come from the strongest looking suits. The best of art is not that which is visible or seen, audible or heard, but that which cognates feelings in spite of its appeal to the senses I swore I was going to die, when I was buried, forgotten and felt lost, but when the world thought I was a material at its end, they didn’t know I was just a seed. I was just a sperm cell in the womb, a seed in the ground, an idea in a mind, a seedling in a nursery, a yolk in an egg, a crucified in the eternity of things, unknown to the world, the place of dark was my place of growth.

Dreams are always bigger, aspirations are always higher, desires are always for more and life seeks itself to grow. Nothing grows together, if it doesn’t first grow alone, a symphony is never developed together, but first each member built first, alone.

IT'S ON THE FLOOR!
- Thomas Odia

Don't be discouraged when you're being constantly frustrated. Never give up when everything seems not to work out. Don't give in to pressure from the enemy to compromise your faith in The Lord. Believe in yourself. Encourage yourself in The Lord and humble yourself before Him, bring yourself down. Soon, everything will turn around for good; like the stone the builders rejected, you will be celebrated as the chief corner stone on which everything depended. The glory you seek is on the floor.

It is not about how high you get, or how much you know. It is all about how low you can go. Everybody keeps trying to get high. But it's not about how high you get; it doesn't matter how low you find yourself. It doesn't matter what anybody or everybody says about you, as long as you are getting higher... from the floor! Stay focused; stay connected. It's about getting on the floor. So, don't you miss out in what our Saviour and Redeemer is doing. Get off the traffic, get down and pick it up! Because your glory... is on the floor!

IT TAKES A CHILD

Author Unknown

We were the only family with children in the restaurant. I sat Erik in a high chair and noticed everyone was quietly eating and talking. Suddenly, Erik squealed with glee and said, “Hi there.” He pounded his fat baby hands on the high-chair tray. His eyes were wide with excitement and his mouth was bared in a toothless grin. He then, wriggled and giggled with merriment.

I looked around and saw the source of his merriment. It was a man with a tattered rag of a coat; dirty, greasy and worn. His pants were baggy with a zipper at half-mast and his toes poked out of would-be shoes. His shirt was dirty and his hair was uncombed and unwashed. His whiskers were too short to be called a beard and his nose was so varicose it looked like a road map.

We were too far from him to smell, but I was sure he smelled. His hands waved and flapped on loose wrists. “Hi there, baby; hi there, big boy. I see ya, buster,” the man said to Erik. My husband and I exchanged looks, “What do we do?”

Erik continued to laugh and answer, “Hi, hi there.” Everyone in the restaurant noticed and looked at us and then at the man. The old geezer was creating a nuisance with my beautiful baby.

Our meal came and the man began shouting from across the room, “Do ya know patty cake? Do you know peek-a-boo? Hey, look, he knows peek-a-boo.” Nobody thought the old man was cute. He was obviously drunk. My husband and I were embarrassed. We ate in silence; all except for Erik, who was running through his repertoire for the admiring skid-row bum, who in turn, reciprocated with his cute comments.

We finally got through the meal and headed for the door. My husband went to pay the check and told me to meet him in the parking lot. The old man sat poised between me and the door. “Lord, just let me out of here before he speaks to me or Erik,” I prayed.

As I drew closer to the man, I turned my back trying to side-step him and avoid any air he might be breathing.
As I did, Erik leaned over my arm, reaching with both arms in a baby’s “pick-me-up” position.

Before I could stop him, Erik had propelled himself from my arms to the man’s.

Suddenly a very old smelly man and a very young baby consummated their love relationship. Erik in an act of total trust, love, and submission laid his tiny head upon the man’s ragged shoulder. The man’s eyes closed, and I saw tears hover beneath his lashes. His aged hands full of grime, pain, and hard labor — gently, so gently, cradled my baby’s bottom and stroked his back.

No two beings have ever loved so deeply for so short a time.

I stood awestruck. The old man rocked and cradled Erik in his arms for a moment, and then his eyes opened and set squarely on mine. He said in a firm commanding voice, “You take care of this baby.”

Somehow I managed, “I will,” from a throat that contained a stone.

He pried Erik from his chest — unwillingly, longingly, as though he were in pain. I received my baby, and the man said, “God bless you, ma’am, you’ve given me my Christmas gift.”

I said nothing more than a muttered thanks. With Erik in my arms, I ran for the car. My husband was wondering why I was crying and holding Erik so tightly, and why I was saying, “My God, my God, forgive me.”

I had just witnessed Christ’s love shown through the innocence of a tiny child who saw no sin, who made no judgment; a child who saw a soul, and a mother who saw a suit of clothes. I was a Christian who was blind, holding a child who was not. I felt it was God asking — “Are you willing to share your son for a moment?” — when He shared His for all eternity.

The ragged old man, unwittingly, had reminded me, “To enter the Kingdom of God, we must become as little children.”

Meditation: Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. – 2 Corinthians 5:16

You will succeed in Jesus Name!

Your inability to give someone a second chance might eventually cost you a lot of unexpected damage... Learn to tame your emotions...
Do not get angry blindly...
Appreciate who is appealing now, don't b carried away by the freebies of a new company.

When you forgive someone, you neutralize their power. When you develop the heart of acceptance, you carve a saner heart for yourself. Have you ever imagined how many chances God has given you so far? Second chances shouldn't be a thing of stress, you can only relearn and unlearn from its experience. Make the world a place worthy of living for everybody...! Have a great weekend and God bless you real good!
